Leverage has always been one of the most fundamental skills in football. Players are constantly coached to bend, keep their pads low, and win under oppponents—yet, there has never been a training tool designed to teach and reinforce it.

Instead, coaches often become part of the drill, holding out an arm while players practice bending underneath it—pulling their attention away from the bigger picture. Others have improvised their own makeshift setups, taping rakes or pipes to tacking dummies, to create something for players to work under.

For a skill so essential to football, the right tool simply didn't exist.

SO WE BUILT THE TOOL FOOTBALL HAD BEEN MISSING.

Born from frustration. Built from necessity. The Half-Gate was created to solve some of football's most persistent challenges: teaching players to bend, change levels, and win leverage against bigger, stronger opponents.

Sketched on a napkin after a spring practice and built weeks later, even the earliest version of the Half-Gate quickly became a staple in every drill. Created by a coach, tested by players, and perfected through seasons of practice, the Half-Gate gives athletes an edge on every play.
